Robin L. Seligman

Robin Seligman obtained her law degree from the University of Western Ontario in 1982 and was called to the Bar in Ontario in 1985.  She is certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the Law Society of Upper Canada and is Past Chair of the Canadian Bar Association national section for Citizenship and Immigration as well as Past Chair of the Ontario Bar Association, Citizenship and Immigration section.

She has chaired, lectured and spoken extensively for various organizations on the topic of Canadian Immigration Law including the Canadian Bar Association, Ontario Bar Association, The Law Society of Upper Canada, Insight, The Canadian Institute and Seneca College. In 2016, Robin became an Adjunct Professor of Immigration Law, Faculty of Law at Western University where she teaches law students in the areas of Immigration and Citizenship Law.

She has also appeared on CBC and CTV television and in front of the Senate and Parliamentary committees on the topic of Canadian Immigration law and has chaired a coalition of organizations for the purpose of lobbying the Canadian Government for change to Canadian Immigration policy.  Robin Seligman has also been asked to consult with numerous Ministers of Citizenship and Immigration and the Departments of Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).

Robin Seligman also represents corporate clients large and small as well as individuals in all types of Immigration matters including complicated cases with inadmissibility.  She has an excellent track record and will not leave any stone unturned for her clients.

Sandra Dzever

Sandra graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University in 2012 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2013. She subsequently completed her Master of Laws in Administrative Law at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2016. Prior to studying law, Sandra obtained an Honours Bachelor's degree in International Business Administration, from the Schulich School of Business at York University.

Sandra practices in all areas of immigration law, with a focus on litigation at the Federal Court and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada. She assists clients with their applications for permanent residence including applications based on humanitarian and compassionate grounds, sponsorship applications, as well as temporary resident permits, work permit and visitor visa applications and pre-removal risk assessments. Sandra has also been a guest lecturer at The University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law and has taught in the Paralegal Program at the Canadian Business College.

Sharifa Khan

Sharifa Khan was admitted to the Law Society of Ontario in September 2014 after earning her law degree from Osgoode Hall law school in 2013. She also holds a Master’s degree in Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from the University of Toronto.

Sharifa completed her articles with Seligman Law and subsequently joined the firm as an Associate. Her practice includes both permanent and temporary resident applications and her work is focused on many areas including express entry applications, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades and Provincial Nominees, work permit applications including NAFTA Intra- Company Transfers, Professionals and  Authorization to Work without a Work Permit, Labour Market Impact Assessments, Temporary Visas (Visitor and Student), S.44(1) Inadmissibility Report submissions and Rehabilitation, Citizenship, and Federal Investor/ Entrepreneur and Quebec Investor.

Sarah C. Onwubolu

Sarah is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, having earned a Law Degree equivalent from the University of Ottawa in 2013. She also holds a Law Degree (Hons.) from the University of the South Pacific in Fiji Islands. She was a Judge’s Associate at the High Court of Fiji and holds a Professional Diploma of Legal Practice from the University of the South Pacific.

Sarah specializes in business immigration including: labour market impact assessment applications (LMIA), work permits, intra-company transfers, business visitors, study permits, permanent residence applications through express entry and applications through the Provincial Nominee programs. Sarah worked briefly at Business Immigration Law Group prior to joining Robin Seligman Professional Corporation.

Natalia Romanenko

Natalia graduated from Humber College’s Immigration Consultant program in December 2013, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Sakhalin State University (Russia). She has been a member in good standing of Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) since April 2015.

Natalia is a Senior Law Clerk who joined our office in August 2017. Before joining the firm, she gained over 5 years of immigration law experience working with both individual and corporate clients.

While Natalia’s primary area of expertise is with permanent residence applications, she has experience assisting clients with a variety of immigration matters, including: work permits, spousal applications, study permits, visitor records, temporary resident visas, temporary resident permits, criminal rehabilitation, permanent residence cards, and citizenship.

Natalia is fluent in English, French, and Russian. Outside of work, she loves travelling and volunteering at Toronto Wildlife Center.
